Richmond School District is formally observing the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, alongside Orange Shirt Day, on September 29. We encourage everyone to join in this meaningful occasion by wearing orange.  At McKay, individual classes have been engaged in learning activities all week around Truth and Reconciliation.  On Friday, September 29th we will have a school-wide assembly and silent walk to learn about and reflect upon Orange Shirt Day.  

On September 30th, and over the weekend, you will see our Canada flag at half-mast in observance of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
